These deals are too good to be true

Following the release of Congress’ new “border deal” local and national retailers are taking notes and following their lead. The “border deal” offers $60 billion to Ukraine, $14 billion to Israel, and $10 billion to secure the US southern border among other things.

House Republicans in Congress are in an uproar about the bill and refuse to sign it, however, local and national retailers think packaged deals like this are the way to go.

Here’s a list of deal packages we’re seeing today:

  1. Dick’s Sporting Goods is offering four for a dollar tennis balls with the purchase of a tennis racket for $5,920
  2. A local Italian restaurant is offering one-dollar pasta with the purchase of the plate it’s served on for $1,480
  3. A local auto-repair shop is offering one dollar break replacements with the purchase of new tires for $59,200
  4. Olive Garden is offering one-dollar salads with the purchase of $370 worth of parmesan cheese
  5. AMC Theaters is offering one-dollar movie tickets with the purchase of $1,110 worth of popcorn
  6. A local gas station is offering one-dollar per gallon with the purchase of $592 worth of cigarettes
  7. Texas Roadhouse is offering one-dollar steaks with the purchase of an entire farm for $226,986
  8. A local pizzeria is offering one-dollar pizzas with the purchase of a fountain drink for $144
  9. National hotel chains are offering one-dollar rooms with the purchase of pillows for $8,880
  10. HP and Brother are offering one-dollar laser jet printers with the purchase of $3,700 worth of toner
  11. Guitar Center is offering one-dollar guitars and basses with the purchase of an $18,500 amp
  12. Sony is offering one-dollar MP3 players with the purchase of $13,320 headphones
